The Polo Economic Development Corporation meets every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall building, upstairs and to the left.

PEDC Vision

Attract a variety of types of business and spark moderate economic growth in the community to complement the current identity of the town and its history, make Polo a very attractive regional stopping place for visitors and tourists, and promote a wide range of employment and career opportunities in Polo for residents of the region.

PEDC Mission

Communicate the benefits of life in Polo to people looking for a place to settle, work with the community to enhance the appearance and economic stability of the city, and seek innovative opportunities for economic growth while preserving local traditions and culture.

PEDC Goals:

1) Information gathering (for example, gather information to help identify what type of people attend, are interested in, participate in, or prefer which types of activities)
2) Develop and document Polo's Identity, and determine how and where to market Polo.
